(aka: rebinding / hard cover / replacing a cover)
Bring along a book to refresh with a new hard cover.

Rebind to take home:
A book from your personal collection (all high quality, professional covering materials are provided)
Covered in book cloth from TBS’s stock available
Pre-set lettering for a title on offer (info will be supplied via email prior to your workshop)
Bring with you:
A soft or hard cover book
Approx A5 ish in size
Binding to be in good condition (we won’t be doing any repairs to the binding or pages themselves)

In this workshop you learn will learn how to rebind a book with a hard cover.
It’s a great starting place to learn about bookbinding, without having to learn the page binding process.
It’s a stepping stone to binding at home and feeling confident in any of the other workshop options.

Workshops over 3 hours will have a 15min break. Full day & 2 day workshops include (additionally) a 30min lunch break. Tea & coffee are provided.
The Binding Studio is at 731 Scenic Dr, Henderson Valley, Auckland 0612. There is off street and on street parking available.
Please note there are no public buses to this area. The closest public transport is to Swanson Train Station. An Uber from the train station is approx $20.

This workshop will only go ahead with a min number of participants (or at TBS’s discretion.) You will be refunded in full if numbers are not reached.
72 hours notice is required for cancellations (you will be refunded your payment minus transaction charges.)
Cancellations under 72 hours will result in a 50% refund only.
