Skill Level: beginners & upward
In this workshop you learn how to sew 2 notebooks- a traditional coptic style & a “tape bound.” Both have soft covers made from a thick paper stock & no glue is used in the making.
It’s a great starting place to learn sewing techniques, without the pressure of adhesives or hard covers.
It’s a stepping stone to binding at home and feeling confident in any of the other workshop options.

Workshops over 3 hours will have a 15min break. Full day & 2 day workshops include (additionally) a 30min lunch break. Tea & coffee are provided.
The Binding Studio is at 731 Scenic Dr, Henderson Valley, Auckland 0612. There is off street and on street parking available.
Please note there are no public buses to this area. The closest public transport is to Swanson Train Station. An Uber from the train station is approx $20.

This workshop will only go ahead with a min number of participants (or at TBS’s discretion.) You will be refunded in full if numbers are not reached.
72 hours notice is required for cancellations (you will be refunded your payment minus transaction charges.)
Cancellations under 72 hours will result in a 50% refund only.
